Limited Streamlining
« on: October 26, 2004, 01:21:00 AM »
Rule 6.B states the following
Minimum of 180 degrees must be showing on the front tire and wheel and not blocked by streamlining. Using an imaginary line between axels, streamlining must not extend below the axel line and is limited to seat or tail section. The use of a seat or tail section for streamlining must not extend beyond the rear edge of the rear tire and must be mounted in three places.
The rider, in the racing positionmust be seen from either side of the motorcycle, hands excluded. Transparent materials, (ie. windshield) used for streamlining are not acceptable.

So I suggest deleting the entire first paragraph except for .. seat and tail section must be mounted in three places.

And in second paragraph include ... hand and forearms excluded. This will also agree with FIM rule 45.06.

Scott,

no scott, you know the rule, same rule that applies to scta rules, cant use a transparent material (like a windshield material) to enclose the rider. as it is right  now...
