Just to give you heads up on this, Pap has filed a law suit against you for slander on your thread. I hate to tell you but he is very serious and has some good law professionals on his side. I seen him take action on a slander case after he filed and it destroyed the guys life he went after if you know what I mean

Anyway you will be notified real soon I hate to tell you but you made one serious mistake good luck

On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime.  His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.

Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all.

Never mind that, how can you slander someone on an internet forum when slander refers to spoken defamation rather than written defamation...? And also never mind the ongoing debate as to whether material published in situations like this is even technically "published" at all and can therefore be involved in a libel lawsuit....

Because you know lawyers, they're not picky about they words the use or the order they went done and wrote them in in.

Some people seem to know the top professionals in all kinds of walks of life, it's only a matter of time before they discover the world's foremost authority in spellchecker technology and come back to whoop your hide, Goonan!

So any Dimwit out there can file a law suit.... 2 questions always come to mind... what color is the suit?  pinstripes?  and what do you file it under? stupidity?  Probably

So SS Jon, since you have allowed these 2 to remain, do you know if you are getting a new suit as well?  All the "good law professionals" I know include everyone in the field of view in hopes someone will give them something to pay their bills.  This is too much entertainment...  grin

Papsmear and Dimwit, don't forget to include us all and don't let the door hit you on the way out.... go elsewhere and stir their pot  tongue

I'm just sitting here, wondering what's going on  Now I'm getting comments for folks that lurk but don't post - telling me that I might have done this differently or should do that in such-and-such way.

Unh, would it be too much to suggest we drop it and get back to racing discussions?

It seams like these two guys just will not go away. They have been given every opportunity to stop their harassment and move on, but they continue to harass everyone. Now they want to talk law suit. I think we all know this is just more of their BS.  Well Mr. Jim Demmitt Jr and Pap, if you are reading this, have you ever heard of indentity thief. Well Mr Pap, that is just what you have done on this sight and yes I can prove it. You sent me two PM's owning up to this and also stating that Mr. Jim Demmitt was involved in the deception. You also ask me not to post this information on the forums and I agreed if you stopped posting and moved on. Well you and your buddy just can't seam to get it into your thick skulls, so I am going to give you a little help. I have talked to the guy that you have used his identity and he is ready to press charges against you to guys. I have already forwarded the two PM's to the proper authority's and my friend is talking with a lawyer. He is looking at charges such as identity thief, slander, harassment and more. So now you will also get a chance to see how someones life can change forever. Sorry it has come to this but you two guys just won't quit and have left me no other choice.   Have a nice life!!!
