Mike,

Send us a couple of your ideas. Not knowing the body it is difficult to give a definite answer.

Here is some picks of the car.

One Idea that I think is legal, the spoiler itself will be mounted to the rear hatch the only piece that will actually touch the roof are the  side panels.

Is that propeller device on the roof an auxiliary power source?

Mike,

The chord plate(I don't have abetter word) will have to touch the body too. No air is allowed to pass under the plate.

Stan,

It looks like the propeller device is for lateral stability. Cross wind is counterballanced by thrust from the fan.

Looks like it maybe powered by WD40.

Tom

P.S. Sorry Mike, I couldn't help myself!

I hate to pop your balloon, but the only thing worse than the air off the back of that car is what is going to happen the first time that car aims the wrong direction.  Keep it for hauling groceries....

How would that be any different then any other car except for the short wheel base. I'll just have to turn the wheel quicker to catch it thats all. lol

Be sure to speed up the steering so you can keep pace with the car.

Dan the plan is to have the chord plate (which I think you mean the center flap to adjust downforce) touch the top of the tailgate where it meets the roof there for sealing the air off. I want to mount everything to the tailgate so it can be opened in an emergency if needed
