Loss of Jim Lindsley

Jim Lindsley, long time Bonneville builder, racer and official, father of Larry Lindsley, car #484, passed away last evening. Funeral arrangements are being made Monday.

Sorry to hear about Jim. He was a good friend and I enjoyed working with him when he was on the Board. I'll never forget working on the old Bonneville Blue and White timing tower one week before Bonneville every year at his home and loading the truck for the trip.
 
 He was one of those many hard workers whose homes became storage areas for the SCTA. I'm glad we chatted the last time he was at El Mirage. God Speed Jim.......JD

Jim was one of the 1st people I met in 1953 at the lakes. He was one you would remember. Jim did many things for SCTA over the years. It was hard for him to let go. He is a part of our pioneering history. God Speed Jim Lindsley
