Bonneville Stories, Part VI, has been released on YouTube
« on: February 01, 2009, 11:21:29 PM »
This is the story of Jim Fischer, owner and rider of the Gray Ghost – a 1974 Harley Ironhead and former basket case motorcycle.  Jim resurrected the machine and has broken land speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats.  He will be at the Flats again in 2009 – because both Jim and the Ghost have ‘Salt Fever.’ There is no cure for this malady other than going fast, really fast, preferably on salt with fellow cohorts who need speed, too.

The quest for speed is a group endeavor and Jim, with the help of family, friends and mentors has taken his basket case Harley very fast indeed.  With passion, ingenuity and guts all dreams can be attained  … just ask Jim and his Ghost.

Thanks for posting that Bob -  Brother Lou and wife Kathleen deserve all the credit for making an old shade tree mechanic look good. Oh yes, and Scooter does a fine job also.  We are hoping to do a little minor frame work and tweek the heads a bit for this year. $$$ is gettin tight lately.
We look forward to seeing everybody come September.
Stay happy and healthy
