Class Question

Hi a bit of a dumb question but we are looking around to see what we can afford to run.
If one were to want to run a drag car example say a 79 Camaro set up with tube etc.
Would this then run in the Classic class 5D Modified ??

The car may be compatable with the Classic Altered classes. But, be aware there are many differences between and NHRA legal car and what is legal for salt competition. The cars are not simply able to cross over.
