WOW !

It happens to all of us sometime but I was privileged to meet him a few years ago.

On a Sunday afternoon he opened his shop to allow Korey Bligh a look into a Ford block
that made a "field fix" a possibility and get us home several days earlier.

In 1953 a friend that lived in LA had a 32 3 window with a Taylor and Ryan flathead in it.
I remembered that name and when I was told that Jay bought that business, I was overjoyed
to meet him.

His shop had every type of engine in it that one could imagine. He did work for major players in
the restoration field and he had to have been held in high regard.

That's a sad loss.

Okay, Glen, I finally got around to starting the new topic.  Attention, everyone!  There's now a separate topic for H & W posts.  Please use it as is appropriate.  It'll be like other topics -- will show up in the list of unread topics when there's something new.

I've merged the Jay Steele news that Glen posted today into this new topic.

Have at it, boys and girls!
