Well the shirt and the racer are old, but no truer words ever showed up on a T

Went over to take a couple of safety pictures for the Bub emergency crew today, while there we decided to pop the top body on and see if the blower drive would clear.... it didn't... and Max didn't expect it to....
So we marked the touch zone, and Max ground a clearance hole... noticed it was not very big, no bubble necessary... and I think Max plans to leave it like it is.  I told him it would be a good spot for the ERC sticker....

here is a closer view

My grandson Trey did a lot of the heavy lifting as well as modeling the seat belts...

Managed to put on a serious game face while he sat in the scooter

For about a second...

Hey... long time no see....
I guess it is because Max was ready with the scooter early.   Lately he has just been buying supplies and all those little things that used to nickle and dime us to no end... now they seem to $5 and $10 us to no end.

Well I arrived at Max's and there he was, getting ready to load the scooter....

After about 4 or 5 hours the empty trailer looked a little closer to ready to go....

Scooter and SSLD loaded, ready to head across county, garage emptied out.... Max and I will head to Denver Wednesday and on to the salt Thursday.
See ya on the salt  cool

Yep, enough chairs, and also note the garbage can and the EZ-UP.  Newbies note:  It's not just the race vehicle and the tools that need to go to the Salt.  You, know, I didn't see a cooler or three in there.  Are you sure those are packed, too?

Thanks Joe, now I don't have to explain that part...  grin  We will arrive at the salt on Friday, probably stop in SLC or Evanston depending on how long the drive is...  undecided

If y'all count 'em there are 8 chairs... Max usually has 15 to 20 guys on the crew.... try to be near one when the music stops  shocked

I pulled the trailer over to my place to check the security of all the stuff tied down inside... seems OK  rolleyes

Well Stainless and Max left Denver about 8 this morning. They were back around 3 to make some new parts for the bike. Thanks to Mountain States Automation for the use of the shop to fab the parts. At 8 tonight they were on the road again, after paying homage to the Salt gods.
