Steinegger & Eshenbaugh to be honored at 2010 CHRR

The NHRA has just announced that Larry Steinegger and Albert Eshenbaugh will be among the Honorees at the 2010 California Hot Rod Reunion.
 
This is a well deserved honor for two old school racers and good guys.  Larry and Al were there in the early days racing a series of very successful fuel cars and Al is still smelling nitro in the morning, at almost 70 years of age, setting records at Bonneville.
 
It is a real pity that Larry left us too soon to see him being recognized, but his son Jamie is ably filling his Dad's shoes at the racetrack and will be there for Larry at the Reunion.
