Jondolar:

I'm quite impressed with the story (as far as I've read, which is the first three chapters).  Well-written and very interesting.  Attention others:  Get ready to either sit for quite a while to read this long story -- or to "bookmark" it in your computer (as I did) so you can easily get back to it when you're ready to continue.

Thanks, Jim, for the link, and again Thanks, Jondolar, for the story.

Hey, you guys are being to nice to me and my team. Lately it seems that the Bloodhound project
is the main feature. We don't mind. After all, it has been that way all through the project. Things
are slowly changing though. We have been picking up some major technology support over the past
year, even though we still find nothing but moths in the wallet. I really believe that will change
pretty soon, even with the recession issues surrounding us. We have been getting the final details
put together for our next test session in the late spring time. We haven't nailed down the time or
location yet but rest assured, we will be out there. Our plan on this trip is to run it up to mach .7
to gather aerodynamic data to validate the CFD study we are currently conducting. Jon will be
posting our plans on the 800 club newsletter as soon as I give him the go ahead............Ed

We are looking forward to your next test session and updates as you go along in getting closer to your goals. You make all us Americans proud working hard toward bringing the ALSR back to America. Its hard in this bad economy you and the NAE team are all doing a great job with an amazing ALSR jet car

Despite the Bloodhound's press and deep pockets, you guys are actually doing more than creating computer graphics and buzz - you're turning wheels.  Major kudos to your efforts and I wish you great success.  Please keep us posted.

The NAE just returned from a two day test session at Black Rock. One run on Saturday and one run on Sunday. All the electro-mechanical things worked just fine and the telemetry and data acquition systems brought in all the data we asked for. We had to set up at the 18 mile, NW end of the lakebed. We ran on a 7 mile track to the North. It was a really really touch track. Both runs tore up the bottom of the fuselage. After the second run we decided to scrub the rest of the test because of the poor track conditions and the damage to the belly. Unless mother nature provides a miracle, I don't see us running there again. We have two other locations checked out that are much better. We just need to go through the paperwork and come up with money to use those locations. All in all, we're moving ahead and it's looking pretty good.
