Crane - For All Your Camshaft Needs
At Crane Cams, we keep several hundred different types of semi-finished cam cores in our inventory ready to be precision ground to fit your needs. We can grind brand new cams for virtually any popular engine. But what happens when your engine is rare, or a cam core is just not available? This can make it tough to build a performance engine (not to mention rebuild a stock engine). Don't worry - we can regrind our original camshaft or even make a new billet "round lobe" when the core is not available for your specific engine. Some of the more interesting engines that we have recently manufactured or remanufactured cams for include:
* Talbot Darraq DOHC 1500cc inline 8 cylinder (1930's era Gran Prix
car)
* Allis Chalmers 6 cylinder diesel 2 stroke (exhaust has valves and is
cam driven)
* 1930 Cadillac 495ci V-16
* 1911 Stearns Flathead 4 cylinder
* 2004 GM DOHC 3.7L 4 valve V-6
* 1908 'Silent" Northern touring car opposed 2 cylinder
* Briggs and Stratton 10 hp 1 cylinder
* Suzuki 1.0L SOHC 3 cylinder marine outboard (supercharged)
* Ford Windsor Flathead conversion
* 1930 Cadillac V-12 hydraulic roller (original hydraulic roller
engine)
Crane's performance lobe designs can be used to benefit any engine, even if new cam core is not currently available.
