So you are saying it's $1250 for the body and another $1000 to ship?  I was interested in getting one for a few minutes.

TZoom, that was to CA... to Des Moines it would be cheaper...

The "new" bellytank looks very nice, the cost of shipping, not so much. I just shipped a sidecar from Indiana by truck for $500 and change. I gotta believe the tank can be shipped cheaper than $1200. I'd love to see one at El Mirage sometime soon.

I don't know if this will help.  Try calling Yellow freight or Fedex ground.  I shipped a roadster body from Ohio to Northern California for $500 through Yellow and a full 30' trailer from Roush's shops in Michigan to NORCAL by Fedex ground for $1600 last year.  With the diesel prices down it should be cheaper.
