Okay, the pictures are moving, but I think this is appropriate.

Well, there went 45 minutes of my day.  'Twas great seeing the show - seeing cars and racers I know -- and a bunch that I didn't know.  It was sad seeing some that aren't here any more -- but all were having a fine time - fine time, indeed.

Didja notice Terry Nish with dark hair?

That video brought back a bunch of good memories. Certainly the high light for me was getting into the 2 club at 292 and some change in my v-6 'liner. Gordon Hoyt drove down the course to give me my red hat and blue tee shirt. He drove up beside me on the return road and said "you ran '92 average". I replied guess we were not fast enough (thinking he meant 192), Gordon said no, 292, you are in the club and I have your hat and tee shirt.

i also much enjoyed seeing a lot of racers I have been on the salt with all these years. 25 years, WOW!. Thanks for posting Doug. I took the liberty to post on Facebook as well. See you all back on the salt later this year.

That was my third year with Al & while I was technically still living in Australia I was working on Betsy six months of the year.
It doesn't seem that long ago but we sure look a whole heap younger.

Sure would be nice if ESPN had more interest in Motorsports and a little less in all things "Ball" related.

Ernest Hemingway once said that there are only three sports- bull fighting, mountain climbing, and motor racing; all the rest are simply games.
