I keep going faster and faster and I don't know why. All I have to do is live and die.

The bidding's long past what I'd pay for it. The suspension and frame sure appear to have made an appearance on the salt.

I agree it's bad, but I was wondering if Glen or anybody knew it's past? May have been cool at one time.

Guessing by the size of the rear wheel cutouts, I would say drag car.

Thought this may be of interest.

The bike has been completely restored.

Both vehicles were designed by Alex Tremulis.

Great project.

Freud, that liner used a Triumph Bonneville engine like the one in your bike.  It was the world's fastest at one time.

The bike used two Triumph engines to get the record.

This is a picture from 1950 Bonneville of Fran Banister's roadster. He along with his wife and young son drove from Eastern Massachusetts followed by Francis Cain in the 40 Ford push car. Fran blew the engine racing and replaced it on the Salt.
Fran returned to the salt 25 years later with a roadster borrowed from Jack Hartney and a engine given to him by me.
