Same year as the truck and 471 roadster.

FREUD

The Weston families little Turbo pumped 2.0 Pinto powered there Ghia to well over 140 MPH. That explains the BIG scoop!

Started as the dual Harley that was built by Bob George.

Then the power plants were used as the basis for this 'liner.

I’ve been doing a little digging, and I followed through with some research into this cool little streamliner that GeneF posted pictures of early in my build diary.

Seems it wound up at Speedy Bill’s in Lincoln, Nebraska, after being upgraded with a Coventry Climax engine, which replaced the original Midget motor.

Not the oldest pic but an old car

And a FAST old car on a very short wheelbase. What was the top speed you acheived with the little 'liner Bo? 185 something?

Nicely done Glen.
I had to degrade it in order to post.
If you had the original to work with it would have been better yet.

Thanks, Don

From the looks of your firewheel photo you were having a great night at Roads Bend !  Good times...........................

Glen, I would have to guess early sixties. Dick went into the service and the desert racing for a long period after that.

In 1966 Pete Dean (SDRC) ran a #2 C/GR at Bonneville. No Time listed. At El Mirage 1963 #2 is still listed as Pete Dean and he ran a speed of145.63 mph. C/GR.He is the one for sure.Hope this helps.
