Wow, I never saw Freud wearing that earring before.  It goes well with his chest hair, don't you think?
Isn't this picture from the time when he was a light socket checker?

Ignorance is my best defense.

It sure is nice that my memory is slipping.

On the freeway at 70 MPH in cruise I gently slipped it into reverse.

The 18 wheeler that was tailgating me, as the smoke boiled off my back tires,

saw his trailer try to pass him. Now that was exciting.

It did not come out of cruise. It just buried the pedal against the floor.

Now that was a great feature.

I imagine he didn't believe it when the back up lights flashed on.

That car had all the bells and whistles.

We went to the airport to tell Treit good bye. He had the ramp lizard top the tanks before leaving.

When we were ready to leave I did it with a marvelous switchback.

The smoke was difficult to see thru but the lizard on the ladder was very interested in the smoke.

He was SO INTERESTED that he pulled the nozzle out of the tank and washed the wing and the pad down with AV gas.

Treit raised his voice calling the lizard back to attention.

The switch back was such a dandy that it was visible for 4 years. I know because I checked each year.

That car had marvelous tires.

It also had a great ignition system.  The reason I had that car was because of 5 miles of water from Lands End to the pits.

10 MPH speedlimit was enforced. Well I was a tad late getting out and so I went 55 MPH. The water flew as high as the windows

and when I made it to the pits the car was running on about 4 cyls. The catalytic converter was crackling like fireworks on the 4th of July.

When I raised the hood the engine looked like frost on the refer tubes in an old time meat market. There was a massive amount of salt

distributed in the engine compartment but that baby began to clean out and I decided I didn't have to call AAA.  My joy was soon changed to

dismay when an official of the SCTA came to talk to me. It seems that I had passed Bob Higby as I was going to the pits but since he was

observing the speed limit it would still be 15 minutes before he could get there to council me. I had plenty of time but I told the messenger that I

would go find Bob when he made it to dry ground.

When I decided to evacuate that place there was a hole under the converter that was at least

14" in diameter and a foot deep that was surrounded by crystals. It was a hole of beauty. Nature is so marvelous.

When I met Bob he just looked at me and said, "I should have known!"

He explained to me that no cars would be running until he was at the starting line and there was no reason for me to hurry.

I asked him, "Is that all he wanted to tell me?"

That sure was a great car.

How about:

            "Freud and Madness in Wendover"

                             .
Subtitled:

"The behind the scenes story that Louise Ann could never tell"

5 mph in pit area (clothed)

TMan........The statue of limitations must offer some protection.

At least I hope so. Would it be a State or Federal case for stealing ( borrowing ) all the Pyrex insulators from the "abandon telephone poles?

Lord, don't let Louise Ann present my adventures to the world. Most people don't even know where Bonneville is let alone

understand the "Can You Top This" attitude required to stay ahead of Don Vesco. He and Kenny Roberts have been my biggest challenges.

Don can't defend himself anymore and I think Kenny has devoted his life to acquiring new wives.
