From Alex Tremulis' 1965 photos...

Pic 1: Burke & Cagle, Gyronaut, Jack Lufkin's sports racer

Pic 2: Burke & Cagle, Pisano Bors., Fritz Offutt Twin Tank(?)
I think the Redhead was just in front of the twin tank...  Anyone???

Pic 3: Closeup of the Pisano Bros.

I recognise Frankie P's. hair line behind the red pith helmet and that's Joe P. and possibly Sal (cant remember Sal's last name) standing behind the open deck lid on the patio.

Is that the same Higginbotham that has the BBC powered streamliner that is at WOS every year?
Skip Higginbotham?

Mike, we would love to see your old photos. As one who saw you run many times over the years you photo history would be a great asset to landracing. Go for it.
 cheers

Mike sent these photos of the 606 Family Affair roadster for me to post. His dad Jack, along with Jim Seabridge and Dick Zook were the folks who took me and my buddy Tom Medlock under their wings in 62 and taught us about the salt.

Poppa Jack Stewart with the family race car.

Later, the Family Affair put both Mike and his bride Priscilla into the 2 Club.

Thanx for sharing these special pics Mike.

Thanks for posting the pics. I will call you soon. One thing= Only I got into the El Mirage and Bonneville 200 clubs. Priscilla ran 214mph against my 215 record and we lost the engine on that run. She ran good but didn't qualify. After that we sent the car to Europe and when it returned we sold it.

Thanx for the correction Mike. Everytime I see the car on the salt nowadays with the current owners, good memories return.

Smiling Jim Seabridge oversees an engine swap on Jack Stewarts yellow roadster in 1962. Does anyone know how to contact Jim? I have been looking for him to say hi!
