OK guys, a few more from me.  I think this is the Lingua Brothers and Father Streamliner.  I think they just brought it for inspection and may have made a couple of low speed passes.  The motor is a blown Honda 500cc inline 4.  Those guys ran nitro and nitrous if I remember it right, they have made some very impressive single passes, seems like in the 250 range, still hold the K/BF streamliner record.

Bo, your dad always does nice work...

How about some odd ones... I think the van ran as a comp coupe, and the other I remember being a Crosley, but not positive on that.
Nice little car

I think the Crosley morphed into the "ARINCEE" roadster.

A few more pictures of the Crosley. Later it was turbocharged. I'm told he still has it. The other car was a Chevy "Master" frame with a Chrysler eight. The guy was serious. It was his race car. Also a USFRA meet.

While all those collective memory cogs are turning, this is the perfect excuse to ask if anybody can date this pic from the Don Fetherson book - Heroes of Hot Rodding. The caption says it's Ak Miller who set a class C record with an early Cobra. It's Ak OK but not a Cobra. Ignoring the nostril intake, the nose shows that it's actually an earlier AC Ace fitted with a 260 motor. I had a bit of a rummage around and found out that AC shipped at least one Ace minus engine to a US buyer some time in the late 50s. Could this be it I wonder. And if it is, is begs the question, did Ak (who knew Shelby for sure) get there before him to create a 'Cobra' or was he inspired by Shelby to drop a Ford motor into an Ace he just happened to have handy?

Here's one that's not that old (1996) but shows AJ Foyt with Breedlove for the photo shoot just before the first runs.

Hey here we have 2 bikes,

and 2 smart spectators... if you look closely you notice the mountains reflected in the lake, I think we drove through a lot of water to race that year

A couple more Winged cars... I'm just guessing the first is a Dodge and the second is Lindsley's Plymouth

Then a couple of cars that Cook was involved with
The Burke Avanti and a Flopper

Question guys?  Is this the fried Vega that everyone is talking about on the mystery car thread?

More bikes (that was my first love, in my youth!)

1 In the bike line, my 450 Honda in front of my Dad's van (seen through the windshield)

2 Another shot in the line.  I was running APS-C-500 and A-AG-500 (open record) that year.  The bike put 20 mph onto the existing APS record (to 121.102)

3 In 2007 the bike is candy blue (actually painted it that color for the 1969 "Wheelstand Championship" event at Orange County Raceway).  That Fall the bike ran a 13.37 quarter mile on Wednesday night, before blowing the right piston on a 13.58 "wheelie run" during Sunday racing.

4 On my 62nd birthday, 2007.  Notice I've lowered the bars, fixed the exhuast (in '69 I had them hanging on long straps that cracked and broke easily, and the headers were hoseclamped to the megs).  Also put a scrambler front fender on it (strangely, the original long rusted away), and I lost the fairing years ago in Colorado (one of life's mysteries).
