Racing a bicycle is like putting legs in a vise and twisting the handle more and more then a little more.
Falling down is no good because you are in your underwear

Let's see if I can do this . .

This little girl went over 50, as I remember.

Sam's bike.  Aero rules!

Here is Sam at work.  80mph and change for a world record.  He has since gone faster. Team Varna was just the nicest bunch of folks . . . and Sam is an ANIMAL!

Watching Sam go by on his way to that world record might have been the most impressive thing I've ever seen.  NO NOISE! and I was way closer than one can be on the salt.

Some years back I touch over 30 on a naked recumbent - if you think its easy, give it a try.

80mph - WOW!

LSR, because it takes more than one ball to play.

Still claiming 80+ is the "worlds fastest human".

Not even close. 167 mph. Still human powered, still a bicycle. What a difference with no aero problems!

Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

OK, fastest  unaided. No gravity, no draft.

167 w/ the aero tow isn't too shabby, either.
