Ride height
« on: October 07, 2004, 12:37:00 AM »
Hey, everyone:

The opening paragraph of section 5.D.2 (Fuel & Gas Altered Coupes) reads: "This class encompasses...coupe or sedan bodies...unaltered in height, width, length or contour...."

I assume the "height" part just prohibits chopping, right? I mean, it's legal to lower the car's ride height, isn't it?

Gary,

Ride height is no regulated. You can go as low as you want, make sure you can clear the pressure ridges.

Make sure you stay within the framework of the rules for the class you are running. Example: it may be hard to put a 32" tire in the wheel well with the car only being 1" off the ground
