2008 BUB Yearbook - YOU'RE ON THE COVER
« on: December 14, 2008, 01:59:51 PM »
If you rode at the BUB event and can find a picture of yourself on my website: www.scootershoots.com I will use that image and place it on the cover of the 2008 BUB Yearbook. Follow the link below to see some of the 15 covers that have been made so far. The inside of the book is always the same only the cover gets changed. The book includes 120 full color pages, with over 260 captioned images from the BUB event, a listing of the AMA certified records that were set (FIM have still not been certified) a sponsor listing and a listing of all the awards from the banquet.
HALF OF THE PROFITS FROM THE SALE OF EACH BOOK BENEFIT "SAVE THE SALT".
We have raised almost $500 for SAVE THE SALT so far !!!
If you have ordered and recieved a book, let me know how you liked it on this thread.
It is my hope to produce this book annually as a record of the event that we can all look back on when our days on the Salt have passed.
Drop me an email and let me know what picture you would like to see on the cover.
Here is the link to the bookstore: http://www.blurb.com/my/book/detail/410236
Enjoy and thanks for sponsoring Save the Salt.

If anybody is sittin on the fence about wheather to get the year book or not.  I gotta give Scooter a plug on that decision.
Get at least one, he did a super job on it. They would make a great gift to any LSR or Drag race fan, then keep one for yourself.
In my most humble opinion.

No wonder nobody can beat you. You drop your cell phone at mile 4 and the course is closed for the rest of the day--

Truth is I lost the phone and waited for you to complete your pass, you never made it so then I ordered the wind to shut the event down for the rest of the day...
