Drifting at El Mirage
« on: November 22, 2008, 04:20:04 PM »
At the end of last year I noticed that some drifters had come up to El Mirage and tore the ground up pretty good where we race. It looks like this is a video they took while up there. Is there anyway we can keep them over on the east side of the lake bed, where they won't damage where we run on the lake bed?

Here is the video they have on u tube:

I love the USA. How much longer will we be a free nation?

Asking questions is one's only way of getting answers.

The rational person lets verified facts form or modify his opinion.  The ideologue ignores verified facts which don't fit his preconceived opinions.

I saw those videos a few months ago and everytime I come on the lakebed it seems like there are more and more donuts marks and big ruts.

Oh they got their pretty little cars all dirty. :-o

The gate pass deal should curtail this type of action somewhat. What a bunch of D heads <:(

That's not Drifting, they are all Subaru AWDs. Looks like some kind of semi organized club activity. I guess they technically have as much right to be there as anybody, but ripping up the surface for what ? I thought the purpose of AWD was keeping traction ?

No one said that "common sense and logic" were part of the deal with clown punchers like that.

I guess the POSs had to run on the dirt and mud. Not enough skill to do it on pavement.
