Every year multiple elderly driver mistake the gas for the brakes....usually they end up plowing into a swimming pool or 7-11.

Never really considered this but this could explain why there are sooooo many old people involved in LSR!

     Buddy from work who retired just before I did said "Every day is the start of a brand new 7 day weekend", "Some days I get quite a lot done, other days quite a lot of nothing done".  Have found truth there, and have done well trying to follow Satchel Page's advice - "Don't look back, somethin' might be gainin' on ya"

     Jonny:  When I was a young Hooligan we used to say anybody could sail in the middle of the ocean nothing to hit out there, took more skill close to shore.  Now that I am on the other end of the yardstick the great expanse part of the salt is lookin' better all the time

It all aint good.  The parts I want stiff aren't, everything else is.  I can still climb in the race car, but getting back out is a real bitch.  Every night I sit down and write a list of the things I need to do the next day.  When I get up the next morning and stumble around I pick up the list and immediatly cross out every thing I think I can put off for another day...........I don't miss the morning commute or working in the rain and snow one bit..................Life is Good............Bob

In retirement the only way anything is accomplished is to make a list.

If you use the list you may as well still be working.

A beer spilled after the age of 65 has a lot more impact than one spilled at age 19.
