On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime.  His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.

Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all.

Rocky, as always, a great story.... you should be a writer... maybe write a book...  rolleyes

Yes I have your book, everything you have written has been great reading.  Keep up the good work.  If you get bored waiting for someone to break your record you can always get a pass on our scooter.  Thanks for the great read....  wink  cheers

I've tried my hand at fiction. I'm currently trying to get "Bag of Evidence" published. Took about 3 years to write. Unfortunately, in these times no one wants to take a chance on an unknown. I think it's pretty good, but then again, I'd have to to actually persue it. So if anybody "knows anyone" in the publsihing business (or literary agents) I'm all ears... tongue

Thanks for the kind words on my article.  cheers
