I agree I am turning my BBC what he is the 410.----I  need "mo Better" heads  I am not making much more power with a 555

I think it depends, we ran our 253 at about 6800 with our roots blown motor and I think most turbo cars aren't going to be real high rpm cars.  Now NA is a different story and there I would build a motor like you guys are talking about,

Alans 249 mph was at around 5800 rpm. :-P

Desoto is right!!!! the more the yellow stuff the lower the RPM.. Chauvin went over 300 in his front engine modified under 5000 RPM. The key is the compression and a BIG SPARK.............JD
