Scott playing city worker while the repairs get done:

Al (our starter) and family:

Our very own LR.COM leaders stepping up to the plate:

The absolute best view ever caught on camera at Maxton.... (being next in line to follow Nancy's run here.. I of course got the record  :-D):

Startline officials (stalling me knowing I really wanted to meet Nancy in impound), by not only asking me for my license but also giving me greif because of DEB'S pink grips:

Joel licensing up in Terry's truck(how he could leave Lucy back at the line I have no idea):

Bill trying to come up with the best line he could to walk up and make yet more fun of me and DEB'S pink grips:

Not positive, but I think Mark was getting me to listen to a really cool blues tune on his radio here:

Staging to get the last run of 2008 in by 4pm:

(by the way... [thanks to Joe, Keith and Al] here's the data form the runlogs showing me crossing the end of the traps at EXACTLY 4pm ----
310 1302 Bike 10/26/2008 16:00 M/F-1350/4 Twin Jugs Racing Todd Dross 195.79918 188.86137

Sometimes (in this case you can tell by adding 7mph to the premeet record), a limp sock is a good thing.

Todd (did I tell you the pink grips are DEB'S?)

Pink grips aren't that bad - Now if your leathers are pink next year I'd start to worry.   :-)

It's the only time I get to leave lucy behind.  Usually I am the one following little miss lead foot.     Ask her how fast her 300HP infiniti goes.  LOL

:-D Todd & Debb, Glad that you both seem to feeling better  :-D,

What made the Oct meet special to me was to see all the vintage Iron show up from Buzz's '31 V, to the Shakey Dog (real WR cases and frame), to Woody's pristine '52 KR (he tells me only 18 were ever made in '52...Anyone know how many remain in existence?) To see the old flat trackers and flat tracker style leathers brings back a bygone era.  I can't remember the last time I saw so many 45's with jockey shifters at a race event. As I joked to KT to see all the flathead iron show up means there must have been a movement afoot.

Then when it can't get any better, someone like Mr. Riley walks into the pit area wants to know all about what we built and were trying to do, and sticks around for a good half hour or better 'bench racing'......things like that are quite memorable!

Part of what makes LSR and Maxton so special, definitely will be back in '09

That's a good question Ron, you were working hard out there everytime we saw you, thank you very much. And Dick sports a cane and was still doing a lot of work evertime we drove by as well. But noooo not Scott... he was afraid that shovel would fall down if he actually started working. Now to be fair... I'm sure Scott will be the first one to stand up when it comes time to be reckognized for all that hard work.

.... Todd (did I tell you the pink grips are DEB'S?)

Looks like the pink grips worked out for you, maybe you should get a set for the Harley.... you know, for when Deb rides it.... Then if the MOJO works, you can tell everyone those were Deb's too...
