249 C/F/R fuel roadster

Allen Fogliadini went 249 today at Elmo with the BMR C/F /R  roadster, fastest roadster on the dirt.

Guess they need to raise all the minimums :evil:.........Great job by the BMR team..............

Definatly run off the year or maybe the decade. 249 in a highboy roadster is completly off the hook. Thats 21 mph over our 228.951 record! :-P

Great run guys!!! Their car not only runs fast but is a work of art also. Anyone get any pictures of the car yesterday?

Doug told me he was happy that he or the driver did not need to worry about water pumps with this combination. No chance of a "water" fire with this billitt or bullet as the case this time..............JD

Hey, it's only four months since the runs, but I just got sent a couple of shots of Fogie in the #66 car on that 249 mph run last fall.  Here they are:

I have that photo as my screen saver. love it, let see if they can ever  get  close to 249 again ? :-P should almost go 300 at bonneville this year?

By the way, I was in error earlier -- in that I didn't give Jim Jensen the credit for sending that photo along.  I'm not sure if he was the photographer or not -- but I sure thank him for helping me get the picture to this site.  And thanks, Sum, for the enlargement so we can have a discussion about aero and stuff. . .

boy Jenson must have set a record by getting from the starting line to the finish line before fogi did....... must have been a cold beer down there..lolololololol
