can a nitrous box be vented with a steel braided line or does it need to be a hard line, (steel, alum,) and what diam, ( #10-12)

Last year we used alloy tubing from the bottle to a bulkhead fitting in the skin of our linner and had no issues at tech. I think the spirit of the rule is to get the gas out of a closed in area. It seems to me that any method that will stand up to the pressure involved will be OK.
