Stephen,

Check with Phoenix Racing Apparel over on 44th, they had a 3.2A/20 suit on display that fit me; they might lend it to you, or give you a good deal on it or another one, if you offer to advertise for them.

Hey -Big, I didn't understand your post about the fuel system.
Do you know you have to wire in an inertia switch or not.
You are really making some great progress.
Are you going down to the Texas mile with nick next week?
I'll be there with my buddy Yusuf and his evo that looks alot like mine but is a full street car capable of driving anywhere. My car will probably not be there unfortunately.

An inertia switch and being able to cut off the fuel are 2 different things completely and the inertia switch is a new rule for 2010.

I know I have to have the switch. I had a big ol thing wrtten out, and found the rule and deleted most of my post. I just missed some of it. So yea, more crap as usual to add.

I won't be able to make it to texas. I was forced into work last year so I was unable to go to speedweek. And I am only alloted one week to leave town this year and I haven't been to the salt since 2007. So. Am sacraficng texas for speed week this year.

Got these back today.

The oil cooler is 10x13x2. It will have its own dedicated 7" fan. The fan is in the garage, I forgot to take a picture. The oil cooler and oil filter housing all had -10 fittings welded on. Of course I am going to be running -10 pushlok as usual.

I was able to put in a little time this weekend. I got a few things accomplished. I repaired the oil feed line and it no longer leaks. I also was able to mount the coolant overflow and relocate it. I no longer have a water leak from the hose that came off the thermostat housing. I mounted the oil cooler and oil cooler fan. I mounted the fire suppression systems. I mounted the handles and ran the cables. All that is left to do there is run the small tubing and hook up the fittings. Both bottles are now mounted.

I was also able to secure some more of the base plates for the roll cage with large bolts. This should make the SCTA and USFRA even more happy. Jason and Nick removed the other window for me as well last night. Came it nice and clean with the removal kit. I also picked up another 13ft of tubing to add some more to the roll cage.

The goal this week is to mount the parachute, plumb the fire suppression, do some more chassis welding, mount the window net and weld the other window opening screens. The only other thing I have to do is mount the oil cooler housing and run the hoses to the cooler. I will have to wire the fan for that in, but right now it is not important. That is about all the is on the plate for the moment. I am saving my pennies for the Racepak system. That is going to take a little bit to get the money together for that.

If you look back a page or two, it is there. It is the right size. Odd shaped and all, but stroud came through.

Wow, awesome progress.  I can definitely see the influence that Nick had over your cage design.  His looks like a jungle gym but you'd be hard pressed to find a stouter cage design.

Great job.

We actually just added two more bars to it. If you can believe that. I had envisioned something like his, only easier to work on, work with, and work around. While we have similarities, I have more room to assist the driver and the driver to drive the car. I like his, but had to have some tweaks my way.
