How come you made the decision not to go then Max?

I've already explained why on this thread.

Just 1st and 2nd burns on hand and face, nothing else

If you've ever been burned there is no such thing as "just" 1st & 2nd degree burns. Really painful.  My hopes for a speedy recovery. The burns on the hand may prevent further driving.

True but when "burns" and "airlifted to the burn center" are the preliminary reports I have to admit that I was relieved to hear they were just 1st and 2nd degree burns on a limited amount of his body. But, to address the second point, I was unfortunate enough to get 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my entire left palm and all my fingers when I was younger and I will back up your really painful description.

Even when I just try to visit a forum I don't get any respect.

When I go to the DieselPlace thread, it tells me:

You do not have permission to access this page. This is due to one of the following reasons:

1: You are not wearing a red hat (good) or a blue hat (better).

2: Mr. Noonan did not put you on the guest list.

3: Our system has detected that you are not in southern California.

Absolutely agree with you, broken bones and bruises are healed fast, burns takes forever, if even it will heal. Good luck to Lynn for fast andpainless recovery!!!

And speaking of viewing and not logging in, RatCliff is viewing right now and thinking aloud to himself:

You know if Burklands car had a prop and with his horsepower I have calculated he would run over 1000mph!

Bah; no one ever listens to me except myself..isn't that right self?  yes Franklin you are right as usual!

Any news as to the Birkland's return today? Hope the Missle Driver has a speedy recovery. It'd be terrifiying to be in close quarters with fire around you and trying to bring things to a halt. Yikes!!!
I keep going faster and faster and I don't know why. All I have to do is live and die.
