I just got an email that mentioned a tenth of an inch of rain on the salt today.  I don't think it would affect the Shootout, but ya never know.

Any guesses?  Anybody?  Bueller?

Not in the forecast this morning, and not in the skies as I look out the window.

Great.  I'll be heading out there this afternoon following the Grand-Am support races today.

For those who follow sports car racing, ya might find this amusing.  I seemed to be the only photographer in the Clubhouse at Miller's yesterday when Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas appeared to say a few words about their Daytona Prototype championship.  I got this photo:

If ya can't see that, go here:

As they were leaving the room, Pruett came by, smiled and patted my shoulder (I'm not sure how to take that...) so I told him, "Say hi to your family at home for me."

If you've seen his interviews, you'll get it.

There are a few more photos in this directory: http://chevyasylum.com/racing08/20080920/ and in the photostream on flickr.
