As with anything else we do this "activity" grew. At Speedweek, I had Britt, one of our crew guys take the pic of me and the magic broom. Others were in line to do it next when they saw the outcome (photo) because you look alittle silly doing it. We then convinced the reluctant ones next. It was a problem because we only had one magic broom. The film crew from discovery also got in on the action!
Knowing we were back for Bub, I seached out and found two more "magic" brooms to bring so we could have some fun together. On Sunday John and I were taking some early morning pics of his bike (my old one) in our leathers. Upon completion I thought it would fun to TRY to ride the brooms suited up. About that time Leslie rolled up and joined in. That is when the curiosity of the ACK crew got the best of them and they wanted to know WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING! After a glimpse of the end product they ran to get their cameras. This is when Rocky got his pic.
The Bat was hanging in our pit that morning and was not feeling all that well. Leslie fed that bat some water for a 20 minutes and he jumped up made 4-5 laps of the pit and disappeared. Noonan found a bat under his cover a few days before, maybe the same one. Rest assured Rocky, Leslie nursed the bat back to heath and didn't serve him for lunch.
