I just copied the two thousand four hundred and eighty nine runs (sounds bigger this way) from Speed Week 2008. 1632 for the 4 wheelers and 856 from the 2 and 3 wheelers. From them, I will deduct the 108 cars and the 64 M/C's that set records and start my assault on the "Blue" timing tags. Throwing out the 1/4 mile speeds (remember those are only to get you to the long course) and those exits speed (don't mean anything to me and don't even think about asking what you want to ask) finally searching for your fastest speed. Hand writing those to give to the engraver thakes the most time.
When will I be done you ask??? Don't ask, I don't know. In the next few weeks Mike Cook Jr. is putting all new wood flooring through out our home and everything is coming out. You can imagine how much SCTA stuff is in the same room as my computer. I'm also getting ready to go the World Finals and run the Novenber meet at El Mirage so sometimes the race car comes first.
What I like best is how many come back in the mail from the addresses I get from the BNI Office. They are the same printed ones everything else is sent on too. I wonder when those 2006 ones that came back are going to ask where there Record Certs and tags are?
Then come the records...Red tags are actually pretty easy with what Ed has already put on the Net. Certs take a lot longer. I need the timing trailer for that plus the ever hard to get 3 signatures. Yes they are on the run sheets but what the timing trailer has rules........... Have a nice rest of the year to get ready again..Mine is just starting.............JD
PS: Did I happen to mention the Sept, Oct, and Nov. El Mirage Meets which get tags and Certs?

Must have missed that..
