Something I seen on the NT2...but why?
«

Last year I noticed that Yacoucci had plastic bags around each one of the spark plug coils (busa mtr.).
I have been asking myself why all year.
Anyone have any ideas?

My guess would be to keep salt & junk from building up around the base so if a spark plug change is done crap doesn't fall down in there.
I wasn't there, I didn't see it, but that's my guess.

Thats what I thought and then someone told me that salt was conductive and it was because any salt build up could cause the coils to jump spark.
Thanks for the answer Deb....always made sense but I wasnt sure!
