Check out this week's SALT ADDICTION for some insight into Max Lambky's background and what makes him tick. What a fun guy!

Great article Rocky. If you lose your day job, streamliner pilot, you can always be a journalist full time. You already write like a pro. Nice job!!

Hey, as long as we're on the subject of Rocky's writing abilities -- he's autographed and donated a copy of "Flat Out!" for us to give away at Salt Talks.  I've got the book on the shelf right behind me -- and it is, indeed, a wicked-good read.

Salt Talks, folks -- look forward to it.

Okay, back to Max and his bike.

Rocky, great job on the story.  Max has been racing for a long time, I remember the first Vincent liner he brought to the salt, with Don driving, even though he couldn't really see where he was going....  :|
Anyone that gets the opportunity to chat with him should not pass it up.  Like most of us he might be a little grumpy if he's in the middle of a minor cluster f*ck, but he smooths out after it gets resolved.
Again great story Rocky, we are all looking forward to seeing Max's scooter run fast this year and can hardly wait to hear those big twins sing a little opera....
See ya on the salt  8-)

I received lots of emails that the link and MotorcycleUSA's site was no longer working.   I rechecked this morning and it is up and going again. :-D Max and Patti have a lot of friends and its gret to her from so many.

Thanks!

Max's story is still in its infancy. I'm sure there's plenty more to come...
