I'm on the edge of my seat looking forward to updates. You are a lucky sob to get your hands on an original P38 tank. I am just starting on a Rod-n-Race tank, also flathead powered. What axles are you running in the rear, originals or did you convert to a 9" type axle?

they are 9" axles.   and yea the car is being built mainly for maxton so the rear suspension was a must have.

some pics of engine placement.  the extra block on the back was just to get some more preloaded weight on there to see what the ride hight looked like. it wont be twin engine lol

Did you use Flat-o-matic for the adapter? I have talked with them and they seem to have a pretty good product. I plan on using their shorty kit for the c4 and am just curious to see what people think about the adapter. Thanks!
