Paul Stanley passed on
« on: July 22, 2008, 06:34:56 PM »
For the third time in 2 weeks the El Mirage 200 MPH Club and the LSR community have lost another cherished member.

Paul Stanely passed away last night. Paul was a member of the El Mirage 200 MPH Club and past, long term president of the Sidewinders club. Paul was an enthusiastic racer from Eagle Rock, CA. I knew Paul during my high school years and went to Bonneville with him and Bob Noice for my first trip in 1963.

Paul drag raced with Bob and Lee Gustaferson during the Jr. Fuel era running the Accessories Limited car with Bob as driver. Paul helped us race Rich Manchen's Afla Romero at El Mirage and Bonneville and gained his 2 club membership in this car. He was Rich's car partner with the S & M lakester recently.

As far as I know there will be no services. Paul will be cremated and his remains spread at sea by the Neptune Society.

Paul was a good guy and will be missed. He loved those little Red Ram Dodge Hemi's.
God speed Paul.

I love the USA. How much longer will we be a free nation?

Asking questions is one's only way of getting answers.

The rational person lets verified facts form or modify his opinion.  The ideologue ignores verified facts which don't fit his preconceived opinions.
