Thanks for the post Sumner..........that helps me a bit. I was on your website earlier today looking for links to tires. Also looking for links to all of the fast mc liners. My main concern is NOT with the speed rating as they are rated fast enough, my concern is with the handling characteristics a car tire will give over a mc tire.

Have you talked to Kent about it.  Also I'd try and get hold of .......

........Rocky if he doesn't see this, and.................

John and Eric or how about ..............

California Fritz or anyone else who has ridden/driven a motorcycle streamliner.  Personally I feel they are the trickiest thing to get down the course in LSR.  Mike ....................

..................... (Ack Attack) is also very free with good ideas.

Good luck,

Sum

I have talked to Kent and I have contacted one of the people you suggested. I also have a friend close to the Mabry team and he is going to get me some info as well.

Anyone else have any thoughts on the stability of car tires on motorcycles?

I have talked to John as well Sumner. Most people I have spoken with feel it is ok, one said not to do it and one liked the idea, but said more research was in order. This is why I am searching the internet high and low, contacting people who have knowledge on the subject and overall just trying to educate myself. I trust the people who are second guessing the subject and feel more info is needed.

Thanks Sum,
Scott
