Great to see everyone again!! Also it was great to meet some people who I hadn't met before. Congrats to everyone who set a record or a personal best this weekend.

I had a blast and look forward to going back again.

Ditto Ryan, good to see everyone. I would have been happier to go faster, but 1mph is 1mph, and the bike still runs, so I can't complain.

Bill going 246 naked is staggeringly fast, can't say how impressed I am.

See you all in Sept,
Dean

Racheal and I had a great time; it was nice to meet some new people and see some familiar faces!

She had only had the Busa for 2 weeks when we arrived at Maxton, so we decided to take it easy and play it very safe on the tune/boost. The bike still had the speed limiter on it when we arrived!

Sunday morning Dave O had an ECU (thanks Dave!) for us to get rid of the speed limiter in 6th. Racheal made her first pass on the bike at 193 mph. I followed it up with a 190 mph pass. She then upped it to 194 mph. I changed the sprocket and she dropped to 192. That was all the time we had.
We're definitely looking forward to September!

CK, Dave did u right with that posted foto. Don't let it get away without having one from your first attempt.

It is excellent.

If I knew it would blow up nice and clear I would buy a few big prints for my shop and my office.

I may not have went 200mph, but for my first ever Land Speed Race... I felt good getting down the track the first time (some nerves, part brought on by the speed limit talk)  It felt even better on my second run, getting the D License and the Record was a nice bonus...

Thanks again for all the kind words and support,,, I am hooked for sure :)

I posted a bunch of pix from the June meet in my online gallery.  You can see them here:

http://picasaweb.google.com/equimania/Maxton0608

These are destined for the ECTA website, but right now my computer is giving me fits, and I can't upload anything.

Enjoy.  If anyone has a use for a full resolution version of any of your vehicle, gimme a shout at my email and I'll send you one. equimania [at] gmail [dot] com.
