fuel Gt?
« on: June 07, 2008, 08:18:29 PM »
alright guys,
I know this has to be a dumb question,  and I am probably just missing it in the rule book.  But,  whats to stop a car in the GT class from running Fuel? alcohol Nitrous whatever?  what am I missing here?

Box, GT is a production class, production must run gas only.  I think if you use fuel, you just entered modified sports...

I assume your right - it make sense to me,  but i just reread production,  and it says nothing about Gas or fuel -  only comments on hibrid engines -  so it must be somewhere else in the rules (granted I am using 07 rule book - as my 08 is at the office1)

BoR,
The rule book no longer says production vehicles must run gas, the classification used to say Grand Touring Sports/GT (gas), but since there are no production fuel classes, you better set it up for gas and have the tank sealed and inspected prior to running.  Of course you could petition for production fuel classes, but the answer is already there, FMS  :|

I guess I will have to add Gas Only back to the classes. I thought it was pretty simple to figure out.
