 huh Gee, I wish someone could explain to me how in the world to boost reference a Holley carb. I am only going to run about 12 to 15 psi of boost using a GMC Blower with a little 450 cfm Holley carb. How oh How do I get myself in to these sort of fixes??? rolleyes

Thanks for the help the LSR community is famous for.

what is the advantage to doing this?
i have a 14/71 on a 496bbc that runs regular 4150 carbs.

Terry, It's not hard to do but is important to do with smaller carbs as you can indeed pull a vacuum under them at WOT and full boost. Give me a call and I'll walk you through it. 714-572-3672

 huh Now another question: On a supercharged 1500cc engine evil  what carb should I go with?
A 390cfm Holley with vacuum secondaries OR
A 450cfm Holley with vacuum secondaries OR
A 450cfm Holley with manual secondries.

Will vacuum operated secondaries even work with a supercharger? huh

Oh  shocked well that explains the hatch cover thing....  rolleyes  and here I was thinking you were building something crazy....er than a 250+ MPH motorcycle.

"Boost referencing" any carb is simple:

1. Plumb each vacuum reference to the inlet.
 
-or-

2. Build a box around the carb and pressurize the whole thing.
