Hi guys,
I am getting ready to install a set of 3 Mikuni TM flatslide 40 MM carbs.  The throttle cables coming from all 3 carbs go into one main coupler so that coming from the gas pedal you only need one cable instead of 3 for indivdual cables.

I have another rack of carbs 36 MM that are all on one rack. there is a rail that holds them all together, including a piece for a throttle cable to fit on.

My question is do I need the rack for the 40 mm's or can they run on the engine individually?

Also is there any where I can get a diagram or pic of a finished carb so that I know what goes where etc?

TIA
Clay

Mikuni's website only shows 1 TM flatslide. It's a 33 pumper. You might look at the HSR carbs. They're flat slides for Harleys. Thay might help you as well.

3 carbs and 3 cables will be hard to keep in sync.  Don't know your installation, but a common throttle shaft would be best.
