well its drying up and i think tomorrow will look beautiful. im only specating for my first time ever i cant wait there are some nice bikes and cars i wish i could make a fool out of myself and take my rental down the track for a good laugh lol. well good luck to everyone.

Weather report looks pretty good except the chance of 20 mph winds. Hope they can run and at least get off a shortened meet. It's a lot of work to make it happen. :-)

it ended up being a chilly day we had heavy winds but had some good runs. im glad i made it to my first meet.

Looks like the weekend ended up well. Sunday was mid 50's with 5 to 15 mph winds.. mostly a head wind.. saw many good runs... all in all a decent day considering  the rain out Saturday.. Hope to be back to Maxton with my car in May...

They made chicken soup out chicken feathers. Donna,and Tonya pulled off the dinner.The whole staff pulled off a darn good meet.
Most speeds were off,but a good meet none the less.

Yeah looks like they did salvage the weekend and pull off a good meet.  We left at 3:3o today and there was still a long line at the starting line.  Don't know how late they ran, but glad the folks that stuck it out got to run and see a bunch of runs as well...
