Good morning,

Thanks to all for your input.   Here's what I discovered in the last week.  Car had ALOT of Ackerman, too much positive scrub, and some rack-induced movement in the shackles.  The bump steer is negligible (almost nonexistent) throughout the range of suspension travel.

Going back together today with new steering arms (very little Ackerman) and a shackle-less spring mount on the drivers side.  Still searching for the correct hub/wheel combo for the scrub radius.

I'll try the water trick when it's all back together and keep you posted.
