Cole,
Great looking piece! With your motor you should really be in a rocket!!

Did you once build and own a 50 Ford business coupe with a big Ford in it? Very red in color.

Rex,
It was a '49' coupe, and yes...very red! I was lucky to have HOTROD do a centerfold spread in the Oct. 1989 issue. A side note, If you look at the centerfold and notice the brick work that the car is setting on in front of the back drop, that was laid out in a field at Vee Spinks ranch with Gray Baskerville on his hands and knees in !05 Degree weather with the rest of us setting brick!! I marveled at that man!
HOTROD mag picked it as one of 10 best car of the decade, I'm real proud of that but you know, going 300 mph would top that!

Cole,
I love 49/50 Business Coupes and I love red and your car was simpley the neatest one I have ever seen. You certainly can be proud of that car and I will predict that your lakester is bound for a 300+ timing slip plus I know it will look (as Gray used to say) BITCHEN!!!

Can't wait to see you on the salt.
