Old secrets revealed!
« on: March 12, 2008, 08:40:28 PM »
I was looking around and discovered this old photo of two of our own participating at the Bub's event in 1956.  Which is which -- Bob Bakker and Willie Buchta.

$25 in Dolan Dollars to the correct guesser.

(Minutes later) . ..

PS  Crap!  I can't get the photo to upload -- and i did try through photobucket.  Bear with me -- I'll figure it out eventually.

Try again:

Nope, the uploader won't work for me.  Maybe I'll get it right later -- but for now it's bedtime.  See you folks tomorrow.

The cure for the cause of the restricted access reciently perhaps was to restrict the ability to download photos.
I do offer them for sale though and have assigned the Norteamericano distribution rights to Ferd. 8-)

One thing that has to be kept in mind, if and when a picture is released to the public at large
of yours truly... permission and a  release is required by myself and my race team.
This is to insure that none of the knowledge
that we have collected in the past 30 years gets
to our competition........our technology at this point in time is years ahead of any other of our sidecar competitors and we want to retain this
knowledge within our company and team.

P.S. Now if we could only get the damn thing to go over 155mph...............................................................

Okay, someone remind me what I need to do to put an image from Photobucket into here.  Do I click on "img" and paste that into the blank where the address of the image is to go?  Help...before Bob initiates legal proceedings, I need to show everyone the photo.  Then it'll be too late for him.

Click on the box following "IMG" on your photobucket page.  With a PC, it will copy it to your clipboard.

Right click in the message entry box here, then click on paste.  Viola (or whatever the French say)!

Thanks, Mike.  I don't have a PC, and I don't have a clipboard -- but I've put photos from Photobucket onto the forum with this iMac before.  I think I did use the "img" -- but whatever, thanks for the help...  I'll practice again.

In the meantime, the original question was "Which one of these guys is Bob, which one is Willie?"

I think it's Willie pointing out to Bob where the rake and trail are leading.

O.K....O.K....After consulting with our team legal department, it has been decided not to initiate
legal proceedings......................................................
It should be noted that this picture appeared
in newspapers around the world..........................
The reason Willie is pointing..........he is showing me the way off the salt after Tech. turned down
our latest Snell approved helmets.
