Soon...........it's in the works......................................

Geee.... the 2008 SCTA rule book is already out......

Sorry, I just had to..... the  made me do it.   :-D

Dyno, I'll be the first to critisize the AMA as they now stand, but. They already have 5 Pro racing rulebooks  available online as well as the Pro-Am rulebook. Also available are the 8 supplemental rulebooks for the varied disiplines... :-D

More importantly they are all available "online"...

And, the claiming rule that mysteriously dissappeared in '07 has been reinstituted...

See ya'll in the dirt...or the salt

Larry

The poke at the rule book was tounge in cheek I'm sure you know but I'll add this..... Did you say the AMA Pro Racing rule book?

Dyno, I'm guilty of a little tounge in cheek as well...

I wonder if Pro Wrestling has a rulebook :?

I am certain the Dan and Todd and anybody else who has written racing rules will agree it is somewhat like "wrestling"
O.K. the 2008 rules for the BUB have been completed and should be on the BUB site soon.
Take a close look at them....there are some minor changes...................one being Dustbin Fairings
(yes, they are still allowed with some restrictions)
The other in seat/fairing lenght in APS...............

Thanks Jon, it is great the forum is back..............

I got mine in an email the other day. Haven't had a chance to go over them much, but. I think i saw where to qualify for a record now you must equal or surpass the existing record. No more within 5% rule. No more lapping till you set a record. That should let everyone have a fair chance at making a reasonable amount of runs. I know I'm having withdrawals.

I'll second that. Thanks, Jon, it IS great to have the forum back.  :-D

The misuse of the original rule of 5% was abused. equal to or above the current record (most of them in the 1970's) is a great call by the BUB and AMA people.
