What class and record?
« on: January 30, 2008, 03:40:28 PM »
What class would a 1964 elcamino with a stock body, and a 250cu inline six fit into?

What is the record for such class?

Also same car and engine but add a turbo?

152.351 for the turbo class?

That seems like a much easier goal than na.

Jeremy your Camaro can't be PRO unless you put those head lights back in.

Also, to run in the Classic catergory you can't have electronic fuel injection. Just wanted to let you know.

I posted these records at the end of the other post, before I saw this one.

Unblown Fuel Altered Coupe - /FALT
B      Rally Racing                     L. Evans III   10/04    235.607
Unblown Gas Altered Coupe - /GALT
B      Rally Racing                    L. Clark         10/04    238.883

Here is the 6 cyl record. I am guessing that you are running stock body?

6.E  Classic Category
Classic Blown Gas Coupe - /CBGC

E      Geisler, Vail, Banks             G. Vail              08/99    152.351
Classic Unblown Gas Coupe - /CGC
E      Geisler, Vail, Hizer      G. Vail              08/94    188.114
Classic Production - /CPRO
E      Cohn Jucewic Monza   R. Cohn      10/07    203.100

Classic Category is an American coupe between 1928 and 1981.

You also can't run in Classic with that year Camaro. :-o

Rich is correct. The Geisler Studebaker is one of the old salts, been around for ever. Take a look at the windshield, there are at least 40 participant decals. Number 219.
