busa battery bracket
« on: January 04, 2008, 06:46:14 PM »
Maybe some of you busa riders can help me. It has been so long since I did any fabrication I think that part of my brain has old-timers disease. I keep looking at my battery compartment and cant visualize how to do the metal hold down and how to attach it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Bend a piece of 1/4" thick by 1-2 " wide Aluminum strap around the battery and then have the two ends meet facing the front and bolt it to the OEM gas tank bracket with a bolt and nut.

Works for me and the SCTA techs.
