i usually am snakeing tubing in some very tight spots and prefer the smaller tube size --i have the option of thicker wall tube or just more tubing --if you are bending tubing at home thicker wall gets pretty tough to bend --i have a tubing bender and often make just bends for customers --i would be happy to do that if you send me the tubing and a pattern -my dyes are 1in-- 1 1/8 in--1 1/4 in--1 1/2 in--1 5/8 in --1 3/4 in--and 2 in  in 1 1/8 in i have 3 different radis    thanks  willie buchta

No more bikes for me.. The last time I was racing a bike was  1/4 mile style... best speed was 156 in 1/4 ( but I was a mere 240 lbs then)  This was before my near fatal bike crash (broke 13 bones in one wreck, no head or neck injuries,,, nice helmet .. thanks to  Shoei).

Think I am stick with 4 wheels and a cage,,, lol...

I found DOM localay here  for 4.70ft. delivered  free with 50 ft. min.

Thanks for all the good ideas..

Started our rear engine lakester 7 years ago and can't get over the rise in price of DOM tubing. Bought 1.75dia .120 wall for around $2/ft then. Still have a ways to go.

Made the trip to Shapiro's today.  Neat place.  They even gave me a little break because we drove so far. DOM 1.75x.125 at $4.15/ft
